Additive TIG welding process

For an Asian customer a verification of the usability of an additive TIG welding process for titanium workpieces had been done in order to explore the possibility of changing the manufacturing process of milling from a whole piece.

The verification tests had been performed on standard steel pieces. The Result is a 50% less time and cost spending manufacturing opportunity. Due to these results, the customer will continue their internal procedures and force the investment for an additive TIG welding process with the corresponding installation within the next three months.
