Oldie but Goldie - igm welding robots - reliable for decades

Lottero Giovanni s.n.c. (Italy) is a long-standing igm customer and has a total of 3 igm robot systems in operation in its production hall. The oldest igm robot system was already put into operation in 1991 and still reliably welds various components in production today.

At Lottero Giovanni, the third generation is already working in the steel industry; their grandfather and company founder was an agricultural blacksmith. Over the years, the company has modernised through the purchase of various machines that make it competitive on the market.

Since 1991, Lottero has relied on robot systems from igm Robotersysteme AG. A total of 3 igm robot systems starting with the control version K2 are in operation for the processing of iron, stainless steel and aluminium.
